Licensed Counselor or Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)

Seeking independently licensed counselors/therapists (LPC, LCSW and LMFT) to add to our growing private practice team in Norwich, CT.

Candidates would join Eddy Wellness, a thriving counseling group practice in Norwich, Connecticut that provides comprehensive outpatient treatment for adults. Our practice and our clinicians are contracted to serve clients with Husky, Cigna, Aetna and United Healthcare/Optum Insurance plans. We are passionate about being able to provide services to clients who otherwise would not be able to afford them while still being able to competitively compensate our team. All clients and billing will be provided by the practice.

Job Details:

• 1099 Contract Employment with option for W2 position in 2026
• Remote and on-site services
• Case load of clients that are in your specialized scope of practice- options for 15-25 direct client hours per week
• Complete Intake Assessments, Ongoing Counseling Sessions, Treatment Plans and Discharge Summaries
• Completion of notes and other required documentation within 24 hours of completion of session in EHR (Simple Practice)
• Willingness to work at least one evening a week and/or weekends
• Possess working knowledge of DSM-V-TR criteria, community resources, assessment and crisis intervention
• Uphold ethical and legal standards for care
• Ability to offer Telehealth services to clients

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Good standing with Connecticut Department of Public Health
• Previous experience working in individual counseling setting
• Trauma Informed and holds training or certification in trauma modalities
• EMDR trained or desire to become trained in the near future is required
• Must provide own liability insurance
• Equipment: Must have a smartphone, computer with web-cam and be comfortable with technology

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an independent contracted (1099) position with growth potential and increased revenue as your caseload grows.
